Paul was a tent maker and meets a Jew Aquila and his wife Priscilla in Corinth a native of Pontus.  Claudius told all the Jews to leave Rome. Priscilla and Aquila they also tent makers and Paul worked and Paul lead to led to Christ. Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying persuade Jews and Greeks. To come to Christ. (Acts 18:4).  When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to that Jesus was the Christ (Acts 18:5). Paul stayed in Ephesus for year.

Paul left Corinth with Aquila and Priscilla and to Syria.  They arrived in Ephesus, and left Aquila and Priscilla there. Meanwhile  a Jew arrived named Apollos from Alexandria, came to Ephesus.  He was learned man, with knowledge of the Scriptures.  He been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, thought he knew only the baptism of John.  He began to speak boldly in the synagogue.  When Aquila and Priscilla heard him they invited him to their home and explained to him to the way of God more adequately.  Apollos wanted to go to Achia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him.  On arriving, he was a great help to those who by grace had been saved (Acts 18:24-28).

Aquila and Priscilla were evangelists and made disciples of people like Apollos who went to evangelize and make disciples.

Paul mentions them next in the letter to the Romans to greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus.  They risked their lives for me.  No only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful for them (Romans 16:3).

The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings.  Aquila and Priscilla great you warmly in the Lord, and does the church that meets at their home.  All the brothers send you greetings.  Greet one anther with a holy kiss (1 Corinthians 16:19-20).

Paul sent second letter to Timothy a apostolic delegate of Paul to refute the false teachers in the church in Ephesus.  Paul greets Priscilla and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus (2 Timothy 4:19).

It appears after their stay in Ephesus the return home in Corinth.  They set a example for us to follow.
