Bible Reading and Prayer is Must for Christians

No Christian can grow without reading the Bible or connecting with God through prayer.  These are two of the greatest gifts given to us from our Father.

Every Christian needs to develop Christian World Life View and you get that from reading your Bible often.  Prayer connects you to God where you leave bad memories, hurts, and anxious thoughts.  Over time you grow closer to God.   Bible reading will help pray.

I always tried to use a Bible plan but I could never stick to it.  I started to using a book mark and guilt washed away.  As long as the book mark is moving during a week you are doing OK.  You can find many of God’s promises that will help you through darkest times.

Amen to the bookmark, Paul. For slow readers or times you really want to chew on the Word – a bookmark gives freedom! I also keep paper nearby for note taking – in case something really jumps out at me and I want to remember it especially. Thanks for the encouragement!

I have been putting Scripture nuggets in my Facebook notes each day this year. So wonderful to meditate on them.
