O Lord, consider my sighing.  Listen to my cry for help my King and my God, for to you I pray.  In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice, in the morning I lay requests before you and wait in expectation.

You are not a God who taken pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong.  You destroy those who tells lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the Lord abhors.

(Psalm 5:1-6 NIV)

The only reason we can pray to our Father because Christ died for us.  He lived perfect life that could not.  He was spotless lamb crucified for us.  When Christ died and shed his blood for us our sins were forgiven and we are considered righteousness when our Father looks at us without any kind of blemish.

This is the Gospel for sinners like us.  The only prayer he listens to from a sinner is cry for God the save them and then for here after.  When we are justified the Holy Spirit he sets up shop in us gives us power to change our lives
