The Wrath of God and His Appeasement

God’s anger against us was paid when he crushed is Son on the cross.  Jesus became the enemy of his Father because he carried on himself our sins.  If we are Christians and when we sin look to Jesus the author and perfecter of our salvation.  He has given to us his Holy Spirit that filled us with peace and joy so we can face our sins and we grow to be obedient sons and daughters.

3 You set aside all your wrath

and turned from your fierce anger.

4 Restore us again, O God our Savior,

and put away your displeasure toward us.

5 Will you be angry with us forever?

Will you prolong your anger through all generations?

6 Will you not revive us again,

that your people may rejoice in you?

7 Show us your unfailing love, O LORD,

and grant us your salvation.

Psalms 85:3-7 (NIV)

17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Revelation 22:17 (NIV)

Our salvation is a gift.  Come to Jesus Messiah and drink from his cup of eternal life.

2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Heb 12:2-3 (NIV)

When Jesus Messiah redeems you and you find yourself in hard times look turn to Jesus and find him full of compassion.  Share your worries and fears with him and he will give you peace.

Rev 22:17 (NIV)

If you thirsty for satisfaction turn to Jesus he will give you water without cost that will be like spring gushing forth out of you. Our salvation is a gift.  It comes from Jesus Messiah and drink from his cup of eternal life.

13 Jesus answered,Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

John 4:13-14 (NIV)

Peace, hope and Love are yours in the fullest measure.
