The Historical Jesus

I have read this month’s Christianity Today and the scholars who are trying to come up with the historical Jesus  have called it quits for the most part.  I cannot understand why they want to find out what the historical Jesus is about.  Most of the scholars don’t believe in the Jesus Christ that the Bible portrays.  They believe that Jesus is just like us.

How can we study the historical Jesus while he is living praying for us and defending us before his Father representing us. When he died on the cross and he canceled out all our sins and gave us his own righteousness.  That is what the Good News is all about.

Read Romans & Hebrews.
