Trials Mature Us

I have been studying James for the past few weeks and found it to be a very encouraging book.

James tells us to consider it pure joy, whenever we face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.  James 1:2-4

As we trust that our Lord loves us and blessing us through trials and trouble he will challenge our faith to produce in us peseverance.

I have two friends who were abused by one of the parents.   One them was abuse by his father and other from his mother and they both are struggling.  One of them is proud and the other is more humble trusting Christ more.  He being healed before my eyes.   The other is not healed at all.  What we all need to do is cut off our parents from us for a time and make our Father which lives in heaven our true Father.  I have told all four of my children to look to their Father in heaven to become their Fathers.  He is much more faithful than I am, more loving and caring.  I will let down my kids but God won’t.   Plead with the Father to recue you from your pain.  Ask him for his wisdom and see how he will lead you.  Read you Bible to get a proper understanding of God and pray often letting your cares fall on him.

We need to trust Christ that he loves us to replace the pain we feel from past abuse or from trouble along the way. God is faithful and will heal you as let go of the abuse and pain and accepet his loving leadership.
