My Speech

My speech continues to worsen so much I have to repeat my words to my family. Two things impact my speech too much spit in my mouth due to the weakening of my swallowing muscles and the growing weakness of my tongue muscle.

I read today in the MDA/ALS Magazine that an electrode can be attached to my neck and it will speak for me using the messages from my brain heading to my tongue. I emailed them to see if I can get into this free trial.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up in the air.  And so we will be with the Lord forever.  Therefore encourage each other with these words.

I Thessalonians 4:16-18

Glad to hear of your good family trip in the South, books finished, etc. Sorry to hear of your worsening speech. The text from I Thessalonians was great to read indicating that God speaks for us. Glad that you and I were able to talk when we did. I treasure that weekend we had together in February. In a month or so you should receive the Come…Follow issue from PEF with my article in it. Pray that God will bless the many opportunities I have to make the Gospel known through YLF. I need much more prayer support to rise to the challenges I face in developing this ministry.
